Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR Camera

So, what did I find? Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR Camera is a great camera and is a clear improvement over the 40D. In some respects, it is substantially better than a 40D, but IQ isn’t one of those major improvements. If you look at your files at 100%-300%, you will see more detail in a 7D shot. I have a standard photo that I take in my office when I get a new lens. I had to blow the photos up to 300% before I could detect differences. There was more texture detail in Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR Camera and the contrast and saturation were better. However, to be honest, it’s not clear how much of this difference is attributable to Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR Camera or the lenses (I shot the 40D with a Sigma 70-300mm and Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR Camera with a Canon 70-300mm IS lens). Frankly, I’m not surprised. DSLRs are so good right now, differences in IQ at low ISO are marginal. However, I do feel confident that I can shoot at 1600 ISO or 2000 ISO with Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR Camera without a substantial reduction in quality.

Pentax K-x 12.4 MP Digital SLR Camera with 2.7-inch LCD and 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AL Lens

the battery issue was non-existent for me. the batteries shipped with Pentax K-x 12.4 MP Digital SLR Camera worked immediately. when they were finally exhausted, four duracell alkalines worked fine – but it is important to let Pentax K-x 12.4 MP Digital SLR Camera sit for a minute or two first after changing batteries.

my other cameras include a panasonic fz-18, a leica d-lux-4, and a ricoh cx-1, among others. i also have an *ist ds. i continue to use them all off and on, but the k-x has become Pentax K-x 12.4 MP Digital SLR Camera i reach for when i hope for the most flexibility and the best results. i will never be a serious photographer, but i will enjoy photography much more with the k-x. definitely an excellent value.

Canon EOS 7D 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera

Traditionally the three areas full frame cameras outshine crop cameras are a bigger brighter viewfinder, shallower depth of field for portrait photography, and better ISO performance, which on the last point Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR Camera has proven not be an issue anymore.
And for the second point really, most beautiful low depth of field portraits are done around f2.8-2.0 in full frame (going wider will make depth of field too narrow to place two eyes in focus). Hence, if one is using a wide prime, a crop sensor will produce the same depth of field at 2.0-1.4. Considering an affordable 50mm f1.4 lens on crop has the same field of view as 85mm lens on full frame there is really no reason to discount a crop camera any more as Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR Camera levels the playing field.

Nikon D300s Digital SLR Camera

Recommendation: You will love Nikon D300s Digital SLR Camera if DX sensors are the size you prefer. Its the best thing Nikon offers today.

I will say this, however, unlike virtually everyone else I’ve spoken with, Nikon D300s Digital SLR Camera is a big change from the D300 and the D200. It is a lot more modern design and the controls are improved for the better and the LCD preview screen on the back is much better.

Like all Nikons, Nikon D300s Digital SLR Camera video feature isn’t very good. One thing many people do not realize is that AutoFocus does NOT work in Video mode. So you have to lock down the focus and then shoot. If the subject moves out of range, you have to stop, refocus and start shooting again. This is what film makers do, not consumers. So don’t buy a DSLR (today) for its video capabilities.

Cheapest Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II AF-S NIKKOR Lens

If you are accustomed to handling other 70-200 zooms, I suppose the focus breathing may be a consideration and could impact your shooting under some circumstances. I do agree with other reviewers that this lens isn’t simply “the next generation 70-200″ because it does behave differently – at least differently than Canon’s 70-200 2.8 IS. It’s a hybrid in some sense, morphing into a different zoom category at very close range. Honestly, it not only doesn’t bother me, it feels natural. Keep your eye to Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II AF-S NIKKOR Lens, compose, and shoot like you always do. Or go shoot with primes for a little while and you’ll forget all about it, especially once you look at the images.

Nikon D300s 12.3 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera

I’ve owned Nikons almost since they were first available here and I’ve always been happy with the performance of their cameras. But this is the first time I’ve been ecstatic over one. I switched from using the old N90s to a D90 two years ago and while I liked Nikon D300s 12.3 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera, I was put off by the amount of plastic in what was, after all, a $1000 body. I also found the controls a bit hard to get along with — I’m not a fan of spending a lot of time paging through menus. When the D300s came out I had a chance to buy one and it proved an answer to my complaints about the D90.

Nikon D300s 12MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera (Body Only)

I use my cameras well, and hard, for many types of publications. This camera opens up whole new worlds for me in low light photography, and really extends my capabilities in new ways. It has typically superb Nikon ergonomics; although with lots more features, there’s a bit of a learning curve with more comprehensive menus (for those control settings you can’t access directly with buttons on camera). That’s not a criticism, just a statement.

Highly recommended.
